Applying PlantJuice

PlantJuice can be applied using boom spray, soil drench, root dipping, foliar spray and fertigation methods. Our final filtration step at 100 micron ensures PlantJuice will not cause clogging or blockages of irrigation lines and spray nozzles.

PlantJuice is a seaweed concentrate and should always be diluted in water before application. The recommended dilution rates range from:

  • 1:100 (equivalent to a 1% solution or 1L of PlantJuice in 100L of water) to assist with seed coating, transplanting, and periods of stress
  • 1:300 to 1:500 for general maintenance to improve soil and plant health and during the growth cycle to maximise crop yield
  • to a maximum of 1:500 for broadacre application

PlantJuice is compatible with most agricultural products and should be diluted in water before mixing with fertilisers or agrichemicals.

We recommend applying PlantJuice at the suggested rate and time of the day.

Do not apply if the temperature is above 28°C.

Store PlantJuice in a cool place and mix thoroughly before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Plantjuice is produced using green seaweed.

The green seaweed used in PlantJuice has been sustainably grown in a controlled environment, utilising bioremediated water from our Aquaculture operations in Ayr, North Queensland.

It is highly recommended that Plantjuice be used in conjunction with standard fertiliser application.
PlantJuice makes an excellent companion product for the majority of nutrition programs.

We have tank mixed PlantJuice with a number of agriculture chemicals without any adverse effects or settling out, with the exception of acidic products. For application with acidic products, mix/dilute acidic product in large amount of water first, then add PlantJuice

When combining PlantJuice with any chemical we suggest a standard jar test be carried out to assess compatibility. We recommend that if tank mixed all chemicals should be diluted in water first, then add PlantJuice (refer to compatibility page). Once mixed the solution should be applied within a 6-month period, noting particles will settle during storage so agitation prior to use is required.

PlantJuice can be applied using a number of methods such as fertigation, trickle, through a boom, pivot and soil injected.
We recommend the product is agitated prior to use.

Please refer to the crop pages for ‘guide only’ application rates.

PlantJuice can be a regular component of any nutrition program. Please refer to the crop pages for specific timing of application. Alternatively, seek agronomist advice or contact Pacific Bio.

PlantJuice has an Alkaline pH that ranges from 11.5 to 12.5.

PlantJuice contains natural plant hormones such as auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins. No artificial hormones are added to PlantJuice. The hormones in PlantJuice (seaweeds) are the same as in terrestrial plants.

PlantJuice can be purchased via a range of outlets. Please refer to our ‘Where to buy’ page or contact Pacific Bio to find your nearest stockist.
